It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our Chair, Lynn McTiffin. Lynn became Chair of WADAOS in 2022 and played a vital role in helping the society recover following the challenges of the Covid pandemic. A passionate supporter of everything WADAOS stood for, Lynn worked tirelessly behind the scenes, particularly in fundraising for our productions. Dot loved being a member of WADAOS and was involved in so many aspects of the society over the years. From performing on stage to serving on the committee, helping Front of House, and collecting members' subscriptions each week, she was always willing to lend a hand. A soprano, Dot played many memorable roles, including Mrs Pearce in My Fair Lady, a nun in Sister Act, Alice Tinkler's mum in The Vicar of Dibley, and countless chorus roles.
