




Meet our Committee
Our Committee is built up of members with vast experience in musical theatre, administration, leadership and service. they are vital for the survival of the society literally being the life blood that makes the society run. Wadaos owns no building or property and thus the society only exists in the essence of its people, members, friends, sponsors, and patrons.









Meet Sam
Sam Joined the Society rather recently in 2023 but he has already made a big impact. For our production of 'Into the woods' Sam played the part of the baker, an important and Principal role. the fact that Sam's very first show with us landed him a bog part speaks for itself. His performance in as the Baker earned him a District Noda award and it was very well deserved.
Before Sam moved to west cumbria he was a member of Swavesey RADSOC and Cambridge Pied Pipers. Sam's wife Danya is also a member of the Society performing for the first time in our Production of 'Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat'.
Sam stepped up in 2026 to take a seat on our Committee where his presence is appreciated.
Meet Becca
Becca joined the Society in 2017. She has taken part in many of our Productions be that in the Chorus or a principal role. Her favourite part was in 'Into The Woods' where she played the part of the black hearted step sister 'Florinda'. Again as with so many others Wadaos is a family affair. Becca's Husband Dean performed in many shows and now her daughter Evelyn has also joined playing a special part in our Production of 'Joseph and The Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat'.

Becca re joined the Committee of Wadaos in 2025 after a short break from many years of dedicated service working tirelessly for the good of the Society even will a busy home life.
Meet Emma
Emma came into contact with Wadaos in 2016 when her daughter auditioned for that years production of Legally Blond. Emmas best Friend Wendy also a member of Wadaos eventually persuaded her to read the boards in 2019s production of the sound of music. She joined her children for this performance in the Chorus section. Emma took part in 2022s Show Stoppers concert and following that has taken on larger roles like Grandma Addams in he Addams family, Michelle in all all, milky white in into the woods, and the main part of nurse ratchet in one flew over the cuckoos nest. Emma as well as being on our committee is a vital and leading member of our props team the over the years have created some amazing items that have been sought after from beyond Cumbria.
Meet Sheridan
Sheridan has been a member of waders for 28 years! As such she is one of our most experienced members. Her dedication to the society is admirable. She is the first of many family members with a connection with the Society. Pam Hardy her Grandmother was the Front of house manager for many years with her husband singing in the male chorus in many productions. Sheridans sister Nicole also took part in a number of junior productions alongside her brother Ryan who no longer treads the boards but works for the Society in an administrative role. She played a main role in fiddler on the roof and in the hired man.
Meet Kayley
Kayley has been a member of waders since 20189. Her firs show was Sister Act followed by the sound of music in 2019. She had a BA (Sons) in Fine Art from Cardiff universally. Her new appearance was in 2023 and has performed in all productions since his year. Kayley has at each turn grown in confidence taking bigger and larger parts in every production. Hayley also is a member of our Committee and she specialises in he props department. Hayley also is our in house graphic designer hand designing our posters, passes, art work, and leaflets.
Meet Simon
Simon has been in and out of theatre for many years, but it keeps pulling him back. Simon has years of experience both on and off stage performing almost all roles there can be from lighting and sound, front of house manager, leading parts, set design and building, advisor and most recent in Directing. Simons first production was the palace guard in Aladdin, then onto Eugene in Greace, Cheswick in One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest, and Simeon in Joseph. in our 2026 play of Frankenstein Simon took the reigns as Director for the first time, it is certain from the results of that production that it will be the first of many.
Meet Jack
Jack get up in Birmingham and has took part in shows from a young age including a production of Chess and a youth production of Romeo and Juliet. Following his he eventually moved into adult productions including productions of 42nd Street and Kiss Me Kate. Jack also took the part of Diesel in West Side Story. After moving to West Cumbria he quickly joined the local theatre groups, performing in various shows with us at WADAOS and with Whitehaven Theatre Group. Jack played a drag queen in Kinky Boots, Lucas in The Addams Family, he Wolf and Prince from Into the Woods and Dennis Dupree in Rock of ages. Jack recently took the lead role of Joseph in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat. Jack has found his home in our group now serving on our Committee and his input is a valuable asset to Wadaos.
Meet Megan
Megan is a new face of the Wadaos family having only been with us for a year or so. Despite that short time she has had a very positive impact upon the society. her first production was 'Jesus Christ Superstar' in 2025. Megan is also a member of our committee and again despite the short time she has given us an outstanding amount of time and effort.
