Meet our Chair Person - James Last (Interim)
The Chairperson provides overall leadership and direction for the society, helping to ensure that it runs smoothly and stays true to its aims and values. They work closely with the committee to support decision-making, encourage collaboration, and oversee the planning and delivery of the society’s activities throughout the year.
Acting as a key point of coordination, the Chairperson helps foster a positive, inclusive, and welcoming environment for members while supporting the long-term success of the organisation. They represent the society when needed and play an important role in ensuring effective communication, good governance, and a shared vision for future productions and events.

Sadly our sitting Chair Person Mrs Lynn McTiffin passed away recently. As such the office of Chair Person became vacant mid term. The Committee used its executive powers of collective responsibility to authorise the following appointment.
James Last one of our Vice Chairs has stepped up and is now acting as the Interim Chair of the Society until a new Chair Person can be elected at the next Annual General Meeting as per the Constitution.
James has full executive authority during this period. He also has the full support of the Committee and indeed the members of the Society and we thank him for stepping up in such a difficult period for the Wadaos family.
An obituary and Tribute to the late Lynn McTiffin can be found here.
