The other two photos depict scenes taken on stage at the Theatre Royal which was situated on Roper Street near the old Whitehaven News offices. A blue plaque marks the site.

We are fortunate to have two surviving photos of this production outside the Grand Hotel Whitehaven.

The lower photo shows Mr Claud Couch, who played the part of a Yacht Boy, with the Ladies and Gentlemen of the Chorus.

Princess Caprice - 1927

Two wonderful photos of the Company outside the Grand Hotel and one photo of “Princess Caprice” on stage at the Theatre Royal. The Society used to hotel a tea before the last night of the show in the Hotel.
