This depends on the Production. In general you can expect that is you wish to play a Principal role and a solo singing/speaking part then almost always you will need to audition. There are times when an audition is not required especially for ensemble parts, however this can be different on each production. At the launch of our new productions the plan for auditions will be laid out in full, if you could not attend or need further information then you are welcome to contact a member of the production team.

We have an established process to reach the final list of castings. Auditions are the main decider enabling you to show us what you can do. There will be a panel of Members, usually the production team and a member of the committee and occationally an invited guest oanel member. Their role is to produce a recomendation to the committee who then make the final decition and give their formal approval.
If you are cast in a production and for whatever reason you are no longer able to take part, you must at the earliest oppertunity inform a mamber of the production team.
