ABOUT WADAOS
We are the Whitehaven & District Amateur Operatic Society (WADAOS) and our mission is to entertain the people of the area with shows and plays.
WADAOS was established in 1904, first performing in 1905.

Our talented members range from age 8 to 80! We are always looking for new members to take on roles both on stage, back stage, front of house and in our production team.
​
Members are required to pay an annual membership fee of £25 for adults and £15 for children under 16 and pensioners. These 'subs' can be paid weekly (£2 a week at rehearsals usually does it) or in block payments. Please speak to the treasurer if you have any questions about your subs.
